There are legends related to personalities who smoked cigar. English King Edward vii loved cigar smoking though his mother did not like this and opposed it. After her death King Edward granted his male guests permission to smoke cigar. Most important thing to be noted is that they used knives instead of cigar cutters in his honour. An American brand of cigar is named after him.
